Doing acts that are supposed to be virtuous and for Allah, but doing them for a reason that is not sincerely for Allah.⁠⁠⁠⁠This disease is one of the most challenging because of its ability to exist within the heart of a person completely undetected. There are moments, though, where the symptoms of this disease become abundantly apparent.⁠⁠⁠⁠How do we know if we're sincere? How do we fight our nafs in our effort to do things for Allah alone?
